Website Translation
your visitors will never notice.
A visitor decides in seconds whether your website was made for them or not. Website translation services ensure every page is localised so the site earns the same trust in French, German or Japanese as it does in English, without your team rebuilding it page by page.
Your website is your first impression. It only gets one per market.
A poorly translated website gets no complaints. Nobody emails to say the German copy reads like a machine wrote it, or that the checkout microcopy makes them hesitate. They just leave, and your analytics show a market that 'did not convert'. The offer was not the problem. The site failed to sound local, and the visitor could tell.
The fix starts with treating website translation and localisation as one job, not two. Your pages, product content and microcopy are localised by linguists who write for the market, working directly in your CMS exports or source files, so the translated content goes back into your site with its structure and formatting intact. Translation memory holds every approved decision, so when the site changes next month, only the new content is translated.
Localised for the market
Every page reads as if your site was written locally from the start
Tone, idiom and cultural references adapted, not converted word for word
Product names, offers and CTAs reworked so they persuade in each language
Nothing breaks as the site grows
Every string, form label and error message translated, not just the page copy
We work with HTML, XML, JSON, CMS exports and WPML, so structure and code stay intact
Translation memory stores every approved page, so updates cost less and stay consistent
For technical and marketing teams
Every market gets the site you meant to build.
Marketing teams taking a site into new markets
Launching in a new market gives your website a second job: making the same case in a language your team may not speak. If an error slips through, it goes live under your brand name and nobody in-house will spot it. That is the gap we close. For consistency, the same linguist works on your account, and product names and offers are checked for each country. If you want to see exactly what the translated copy says, a back translation can be provided on request. You can then publish in a language you do not speak with the same confidence as you do in English.
Our site is built on WordPress. Can you work with that?
Yes. We work with WordPress exports and multilingual plugins such as WPML, and return translated content ready to import, formatting intact.
We don't have a multilingual plugin. Can you set one up?
Yes. We install and configure WPML, set up your languages and load the translations in, so the site goes multilingual without your team touching it.
German runs longer than English. Will it break our layout?
It can. Once the translated content is in your site, we review it page by page and flag anything the longer text has broken before you go live.
Our website has a lot of technical content. Should we use machine translation?
For manuals? Hybrid AI + human works. For sales content? Human translation is a must to keep your messaging clear, persuasive, and on-brand.
Do we need to copy everything into a document for you?
No, though we can work from one. A clean export (XLIFF, CSV, JSON or your CMS's own format) is faster, cheaper and comes back ready to import.

Web agencies and development teams
If you build sites for clients, sooner or later a client wants theirs in three languages, and it becomes part of your brief. You need a partner who respects the build: translations delivered in the file structure you send, placeholders and variables untouched, character limits observed and a page by page review of the built site to catch anything text expansion has broken. We slot into your process as your translation partner, so every language version launches on schedule and does your original copy justice.

The same connection handles more than page copy. Send video for subtitle translation, with transcription available when there is no caption file, and documents such as Word files and PDFs. For PDFs, we may ask for the original editable file so the layout can be reproduced.

Same linguists and translation memory as your site content
Website translation questions tend to be practical: how the content gets to us and back, how a WordPress or CMS site is handled, and how the translated site keeps pace when the English version changes. If your question is not answered here, get in touch and we will answer it for you.
Yes. There are two routes. If you use a multilingual plugin such as WPML, we translate the exported content and return it ready to import, with formatting, shortcodes and links intact. If you do not, we install and configure WPML for you, set up the languages and load the translations in, so the site goes multilingual without a separate development project. Either way, your developer is not retyping copy into the CMS, and the structure of the site is never at risk.
Should we translate the whole website or start with key pages?
Start with the pages that do the commercial work: homepage, core service or product pages, and the pages a visitor hits on the way to contacting or buying from you. A partial site translated properly outperforms a full site translated cheaply. The rest can follow in phases, and translation memory means anything repeated is never paid for twice.
Our website changes constantly. How do you keep the translated versions up to date?
Send the updated content, or the export, and we identify exactly what has changed. Translation memory flags new and modified content and leaves approved content in place, so only the changes need translating. For sites with a steady publishing rhythm, we set up an ongoing workflow so updates are routine rather than a project every time.
Do you work in our CMS or do we send you files?
Files, and that is to your advantage. Working from an export means the translation happens with proper terminology and quality tools rather than typed into a browser window, and the translated content goes back into your site cleanly instead of page by page by hand. If your site cannot export its content, tell us what it is built on and we will find a way that works.
Will the layout break when the translation is longer than the English?
It can, because German and French run up to 35 per cent longer than English and character-based languages run shorter. Two safeguards deal with it. Where a field has a character limit, tell us and the translation is written to fit. And once the translated content is in your site, we review it page by page and flag anything the new text has broken, so problems are found before your visitors find them.
